While the app has a strong educational focus, its use is not limited to formal classroom settings. It can also support workshops, public events, awareness campaigns, training sessions, and facilitated discussions in a wide range of professional and community contexts.

The app is designed to be easy to use and requires only a short amount of time to complete, making it suitable for both small and large groups of participants. At the same time, it offers opportunities for deeper engagement. Participants can move beyond the initial interaction to explore the issues in more detail, reflect on what they have learned, and take part in discussion-based and collaborative activities. This makes the app flexible enough to work as a quick introduction, a structured group exercise, or the starting point for more in-depth educational and advocacy work.

Could You Be Detained? can be used by human rights organizations, universities, high schools, event organizers, and similar institutions that want to create meaningful and accessible engagement around human rights issues. Its format allows facilitators to adapt the experience to different audience sizes, timeframes, and goals.

At this stage, access to the application is available by registration only. Accounts for creating and managing sessions are currently provided to human rights organizations, universities, high schools, event organizers, and related institutions.

To request registration, please contact us at info[at]utjd.org and include the following information about your organization or institution:

• Name of the organisation/institution
• Country and city of operation
• Brief description of your work
• Intended use of the application
• Contact person and position
• Logo [optional]

Our team will review your request and follow up with further details.

Please note that the application is currently in its beta version.

Could You Be Detained? is an interactive learning application developed by the Uyghur Transitional Justice Database to help participants better understand the arbitrary nature of […]

["post-7056","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
