100 Camp Testimonies, a crucial historical document shedding light on the tragic failures of the Chinese regime in East Turkistan (aka. Xinjiang), was officially launched after its publication in Istanbul, Turkey. It was an honor for us to personally hand the book to the brave individuals who provided their testimonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing a diverse array of human rights violations, the book features 100 pertinent testimonies detailing the experiences of Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples. These accounts highlight atrocities such as arbitrary incarceration, forced labor, forced abortion\/sterilization, and forced family separation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chinese regime’s aggressive “reeducation” efforts, which began in late 2013 and intensified over time, aim to homogenize cultural and national identities under the label of “Chinese” (Zhonghua), erasing ethnic characteristics that do not conform to Han Chinese standards. Enabled by surveillance technology, the regime’s mass internment campaign has resulted in the largest-scale detention of ethnic and religious minorities since World War II, targeting the entire Turkic-Muslim population in East Turkistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
