I would like to testify for my family members and relatives.

When I last talked with my family on the phone back in May 2017, I found out that everyone except for my parents had been taken to internment camps. I have not been able to obtain any information about their whereabouts and wellbeing ever since, though I did learn about my parents’ wellbeing.

Yüsüp Abdurahman, my younger brother, was born in 1982, who was arrested in February 2017 and taken to an internment camp. I tried my best to look for him, but to no avail.

Bahargül (surname unknown), my sister-in-law, was probably taken to an internment camp.

Gülmerem Abdurahman, my sister, was born in 1985, and I heard that she was also taken to an internment camp.

Enqer Abdurahman, my nephew, was born in 2003, who was arrested while studying at a middle school at the age of 14. The reason for his arrest and his whereabouts are still unknown.

Abdulehet Eziz, my cousin, was born circa 1979, who was taken to an internment camp in 2017.

Yaqup Eziz, my cousin, was born circa 1985, who was also taken to an internment camp.

Muhemmetimin Abdulla, my cousin, was born circa 1985, who was also taken to an internment camp in fall 2017.

Hörnisa Metniyaz, my cousin, was born in 1977, who was sent to an internment camp along with her daughters Nurimangül Hesen (born in 1991) and Miriwangül (born in 1993).

Anargül Abdurahman, my sister, was born in 1980, whose whereabouts are unknown, probably taken to an internment camp.

The abovementioned people are all innocent, and had not committed any crime. They just want to live a peaceful life. My brother was a carpenter, my younger sister was a tailor, and my other younger sister tended livestock. Prior to their internment, most of my family and relatives were farmers.I demand that the Chinese regime unconditionally release all my relatives. I will protest against the Chinese regime in front of the Chinese Embassy or Consulate. As long as I am alive, I will continue to fight for the abovementioned victims. I also hope that the United Nations can stand united in the face of the atrocities being committed by the Chinese regime.

A testimony from our “100 Camp Testimonies” Book I have been living in Norway since 2006.
