The documentary “All Static & Noise” unveils the harrowing reality faced by the Uyghur community in China’s western region through a powerful combination of storytelling, testimonies, and cutting-edge technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film follows the journeys of individuals like Jewher, a Uyghur teenager forcibly separated from her father at the Beijing airport, and Abduweli, a linguist and poet who faced imprisonment and torture for teaching the Uyghur language to children. Their experiences, along with those of survivors and their families scattered across Turkey, Kazakhstan, Europe, and the United States, shed light on the mass brutality of China’s state-sponsored oppression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our gratitude to “All Static & Noise” for adding the advanced 3D modeling work from the Uyghur Transitional Justice Database (UTJD), alongside testimony gatherings and satellite imagery analysis. This innovative approach brings viewers closer to the reality of the crisis, making it palpable and urgent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director David Novack and Producer Janice Englehart have skillfully crafted a film that not only exposes the atrocities faced by the Uyghur community but also celebrates the resilience of the human spirit. Through collaboration with individuals from around the world, the documentary serves as a beacon of hope in the face of darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
