UTJD Workshop 2026 \u2013 Registration Now Open<\/p>\n

The Uyghur Transitional Justice Database (UTJD) is pleased to announce that registration for the UTJD Workshop 2026 is now open.<\/p>\n
Building on the valuable feedback from previous workshops, this year\u2019s program places an even stronger emphasis on collaborative work, giving participants more opportunities to create, exchange ideas, and develop projects together. Alongside inspiring talks and practical sessions, we aim to foster an environment where participants can learn from one another and contribute actively.<\/p>\n
As always, the workshop focuses on technology, activism, and research, while remaining open to any innovative ideas and approaches that can strengthen human rights work and documentation.<\/p>\n
Workshop Schedule<\/p>\n
Friday, 4 September
\nArrival day for participants traveling from a long distance whose accommodation has been approved by UTJD.<\/p>\n
Saturday, 5 September
\nMain workshop program featuring collaborative sessions, inspiring presentations, and hands-on activities.<\/p>\n
Sunday, 6 September
\nTeam collaboration, reflections, future planning, and opportunities for participants who wish to continue contributing to UTJD initiatives.<\/p>\n

Who Can Apply?<\/p>\n
We welcome applications from young people, students, researchers, technologists, activists, and human rights advocates, particularly from across the Nordic countries.<\/p>\n

Age Priority<\/p>\n
The workshop is primarily intended for young participants within the stated age range. If you are older than the recommended age, you are still welcome to apply. However, priority will be given to younger applicants if the number of registrations exceeds available places.<\/p>\n
