UTJD Brings Virtual Reality Insights to the 12th Global Assembly in South Africa

The Uyghur Transitional Justice Database (UTJD) is proud to participate in the 12th Global Assembly in South Africa, a gathering of democracy advocates, thought leaders, and human rights defenders from around the world. As part of the event, the UTJD team will host a groundbreaking session showcasing their 3D virtual reality model of a concentration camp, offering a powerful lens into the lived realities of detainees.

The session, scheduled for 21st November 2024 at 11:00, is an interactive experience that fuses survivor testimonies, witness accounts, high-resolution satellite imagery, and leaked official data. This multidimensional presentation transforms raw data into an immersive narrative, shedding light on the harsh conditions and human impact of these camps.
