Engaging Youth Voices: UTJD Brings Together Norwegian Youth Parties for Dialogue on Forced Labor
The Uyghur Transitional Justice Database (UTJD) convened a panel discussion on forced labor, bringing together representatives from Norwegian youth political parties to examine how Norway can strengthen ethical trade and ensure responsible global supply chains. UTJD engaged in broad outreach to youth parties across the political spectrum, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive dialogue and cross-party engagement on critical human rights issues. As a result, representatives from Rød Ungdom (Red Youth), Sosialistisk Ungdom (Socialist Youth), Grønn Ungdom (Green Youth), and Unge Venstre (Young Liberals) participated in the discussion, contributing diverse perspectives and policy approaches.
